By accessing and using the stellar-vine website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Services Description

stellar-vine provides professional training courses in database technologies, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Our services include:

• Live virtual training sessions
• Recorded course materials
• Hands-on laboratory exercises
• Certification preparation resources
• Corporate training programs

User Accounts and Registration

To enroll in courses, you may be required to provide certain information and create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your information
• Keep your account credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Course Enrollment and Payment

Enrollment

Course enrollment is subject to availability. Submission of an enrollment form constitutes an expression of interest but does not guarantee placement. Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and written confirmation from stellar-vine.

Payment Terms

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment is due in full before course commencement unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed upon. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.

Refund Policy

• Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 7 days before course start date.
• Cancellations made 3-6 days before course start are eligible for a 50% refund or full credit toward a future course.
• Cancellations made less than 3 days before course start are not eligible for refund but may be eligible for credit at our discretion.
• No refunds are available after a course has begun.
• Course transfers may be available subject to availability and administrative fees.

Course Materials and Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, videos, exercises, and documentation, are the intellectual property of stellar-vine or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal educational purposes only.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials
• Share your account or course access with others
• Record or screenshot live sessions without permission
• Use materials for commercial purposes
• Create derivative works based on our materials

Code of Conduct

When participating in our courses, you agree to:

• Treat instructors and fellow participants with respect
• Participate constructively in discussions and exercises
• Refrain from disruptive behavior during live sessions
• Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or offensive conduct
• Complete your own work on assignments and assessments

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate this code of conduct without refund.

Certificates and Credentials

Certificates of completion are issued upon satisfactory completion of course requirements as determined by stellar-vine. These certificates verify completion of training and do not represent official certifications from PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other technology vendors. Any misrepresentation of credentials may result in certificate revocation.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfering with the proper functioning of the website
• Uploading or transmitting malicious code
• Scraping or harvesting data without permission
• Impersonating any person or entity

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That courses will meet your specific requirements
• Employment outcomes or salary increases following course completion
• Uninterrupted or error-free access to online services
• The accuracy or completeness of all information provided

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, stellar-vine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless stellar-vine, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these terms or your use of our services.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any course-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and stellar-vine regarding your use of our services.
